Hi, I’m Nick, a traveler, culture enthusiast, and cycling convert.
Travel has always been my thing. Not the typical resort vacation kind. The kind where you land somewhere, step outside the airport, and instantly feel like a completely different world just swallowed you whole. I’ve been chasing that feeling for years, and Tokyo is where it first really hit me. Hard.
Most of what I write about is just that. The meal that made everything back home feel like a lie. The hidden spot that never went viral, that no “influencer” tagged, that you only found because you took a wrong turn. The moment you almost missed because your feet were throbbing and your bed was calling.
Cycling came later. I stepped on a scale a few years back, didn’t love what I saw, and bought a bike on impulse. Hadn’t ridden since I was a kid. What started as damage control turned into something I genuinely love. Turns out grinding up a hill at 6am hits the same part of my brain as discovering somewhere new. The freedom, the exhaustion, the sense that you actually went somewhere and earned it.
These days life is pretty much just planning the next trip or the next ride. Sometimes both.
Glad you’re here.
